SAP S/4HANA EWM & Supply Chain Architect (Remote)

We are seeking an expert SAP S/4HANA Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) & Supply Chain Architect to lead the end-to-end design, implementation, and optimization of our supply chain and warehouse execution systems. In this strategic role, you will bridge the gap between business strategy and technical execution, architecting robust, scalable solutions on SAP S/4HANA (Embedded and Decentralized EWM) to drive operational excellence across our global supply chain network., n \n

• Solution Architecture & Design: Lead the architectural design and blueprinting of SAP S/4HANA EWM and broader Supply Chain Execution (SCE) modules, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices. \n

• End-to-End Integration: Design seamless integrations between SAP S/4HANA EWM, SAP TM (Transportation Management), ERP core (SD/MM), automated material handling equipment (MHE), and third-party logistics (3PL) systems. \n

• Implementation & Delivery: Oversee full-lifecycle implementations, rollouts, and migrations, including defining functional specifications, guiding configuration, and managing complex cutover strategies. \n

• Process Optimization: Analyze current warehouse and supply chain processes to identify bottlenecks, streamline inventory visibility, improve picking/packing efficiencies, and incorporate advanced automation (e.g., RF devices, pick-by-voice, AS/RS). \n

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with C-level executives, supply chain directors, and IT teams to translate complex business requirements into scalable, future-proof technical roadmaps. \n

• Governance & Leadership: Establish architectural governance standards, review custom development (WRICEF) designs, and mentor junior functional consultants and developers. \n

• Experience: 12+ years of hands-on SAP functional experience, with a heavy emphasis on SAP EWM (Embedded on S/4HANA and Decentralized on S/4HANA or SCM). \n

• Track Record: Proven leadership as a Solution Architect on at least 4-5 full lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation projects. \n

• Deep EWM Expertise: Mastery of core EWM functionalities including inbound/outbound processing, cross-docking, wave management, labor management, slotting, and physical inventory. \n

• Supply Chain Integration: Strong cross-module knowledge bridging EWM with SAP TM, SD, MM, PP, and External Warehouse Control Systems (WCS) via SAP MDI or PCO/MII. \n

• Technical Literacy: Familiarity with SAP cloud integration platforms (CPI), Advanced ATP (aATP), and debugging or reviewing ABAP/OO-ABAP code and CDS views. \n

• Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to lead remote, cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. \n

• Official SAP Certification in S/4HANA Sourcing and Procurement, EWM, or Supply Chain Management. \n

• Experience implementing Automated Storage and Retrieval Systems (AS/RS) and robotics integration. \n

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies in enterprise environments. \n
