Scala Developer

• Utilise the Play Framework to build web-based applications.

• Ensure best practises in software development and code quality.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

We are seeking a skilled Scala Developer with Public Sector experience to join our team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable applications using Scala, with proficiency in the Play Framework and AWS cloud services., Proven experience as a Scala Developer, preferably within the Public Sector.

• Strong proficiency in Scala and the Play Framework.
• Experience with AWS cloud services.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Familiarity with other functional programming languages.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and processes.
• Knowledge of security best practises in software development.
