Senior Firmware Engineer

The ideal candidate will be a hands-on firmware engineer with strong CAN expertise. Candidates with strong hardware and firmware experience can be considered if no CAN experience., * 8+ years’ commercial embedded firmware development

• Strong C/C++ experience on 32-bit microcontrollers
• RTOS, interrupts, low-level drivers and communications protocols
• SPI, I2C, UART and LIN
• Ability to read schematics and work closely with hardware engineers
• Experience mentoring or technically guiding other engineers

As a Senior Firmware Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the architecture, design and delivery of embedded firmware for CAN-based power distribution and control units. You’ll also help define coding standards, review processes and test strategies, whilst mentoring other members of the firmware team.
