Job description

Our client, a leading organization in finance, technology and financial news sector, is looking for a diligent and highly motivated individual to join the Public Funds team. This is a 12-month temporary contract with an immediate start date. A world-class financial training will be provided. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an early-career finance professional to gain exposure to financial market data, client servicing, account management processes, and data quality management within a global financial information business. The Successful candidate will support the day-to-day maintenance and management of Funds Data accounts, helping ensure our datasets remain accurate, timely, and fit for purpose for clients. Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the maintenance and administration of Funds Data contributor accounts.Monitor, validate, and update fund data to ensure high levels of accuracy and completeness.Assist with onboarding new data contributors and maintaining existing account

Requirements

relationships.Respond to account-related queries from internal stakeholders and external data contributors.Investigate and resolve data discrepancies, exceptions, and quality issues.Support regular data quality reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.Maintain documentation, records, and reporting related to account management activities.Partner with Technical Account Managers to ensure consistent coverage of account responsibilities.Assist with data collection, analysis, and operational tasks related to Funds Data products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Data Operations, and Client Support.Key RequirementsBachelor’s/master’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting , or a related field.Experience working with financial data, databases, or reporting tools.Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a frequently changing environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.Strong attention to details along with effective research and analysis skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
