Java Software Engineer - Senior-Level

Our client seeks a senior-level Java Software Engineer to develop and maintain scalable Java applications within an automated DevSecOps Architecture. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies., Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable Java applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
• Optimize applications for speed and scalability.
• Implement secure coding practices and ensure compliance with security standards.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to resolve issues.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Java development.
• Proficiency in Spring Framework, Hibernate, and other Java frameworks.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with database systems such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of version control tools like Git.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
