DevOps Engineer

We are looking for a Senior DevOps / Platform Engineer to join the Platform Development team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in infrastructure automation, cloud platforms, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD, DevSecOps, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). This role will focus on improving infrastructure reliability, performance, scalability, and automation. The engineer will provide technical leadership in platform engineering, infrastructure automation, Software-Defined Networking (SDN), Network as Code, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust architecture., * Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure automation and platform solutions.

• Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application operations.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and configuration management practices.
• Support DevSecOps and SRE initiatives across the infrastructure environment.
• Design and maintain highly available, scalable, and reliable infrastructure platforms.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure and platform issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Monitor system performance, capacity, utilization, and availability.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and implement optimization and tuning solutions.
• Develop and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and system recovery strategies.
• Lead disaster recovery testing and ensure platform resiliency.
• Establish and maintain platform standards, configurations, and best practices.
• Support infrastructure compliance and correct deviations from established standards.
• Develop automation frameworks to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.
• Work with networking teams on SDN, Network as Code, SD-WAN, and Zero Trust initiatives.
• Analyze infrastructure performance data and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Handle escalated and complex technical issues in collaboration with support and engineering teams.
• Maintain technical documentation, troubleshooting guides, configuration standards, and knowledge bases.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge sharing across technical teams.
• Collaborate with architects, product teams, engineering teams, and senior management on platform strategy and technical initiatives.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and infrastructure automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices.
• Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and system administration.
• Strong networking and infrastructure knowledge.
• Experience with system monitoring, performance optimization, troubleshooting, backup, and disaster recovery.
• Experience working with cross-functional engineering and architecture teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills., * 10+ years of experience in networking, compute, storage, IaC, configuration management, IAM, or platform development.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, GitLab, Jenkins, NetBrain, NetBox, Itential, or similar tools.
• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments.
• Understanding of the PERA model.
• Experience with Software-Defined Networking, SD-WAN, and Network as Code.
• Knowledge of Zero Trust Network Architecture.
• Experience developing automation using programming or scripting languages.
• Strong experience with infrastructure monitoring and performance management
