Engineer I: Engine Design & System Integration - Model Based Systems Engineering (Hybrid)

Pratt & Whitney seeks a motivated and detail-oriented engineer to support Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) activities as part of the Engine Design & Systems Integration (EDSI) organization. The EDSI organization is a multi-functional group that provides system level engineering solutions to meet customer requirements. The MBSE discipline follows a methodological approach to support the development of complex systems through the requirements, design, analysis, verification, and validation phases.

• Support requirement management, systems, and design integration activities.
• Demonstrate analytical and mathematical modeling skills to solve problems and the ability to work at an implementation level.
• Responsible for making minor changes or enhancements in systems and processes to solve problems or improve the effectiveness of the work area.
• Based on business needs, the incumbent may be required to support other duties/functions within the company., The EDSI Commercial Engines and Military Engines organizations are focused on delivering systems solutions to meet customer requirements, driving engineering quality and productivity, and developing the next generation if systems engineers. EDSI is responsible for the integration of components, modules, and sub-systems into world class commercial and military propulsion systems.

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. Ratio of time working onsite will be determined in partnership with your leader.

The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance, * Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, Software, Mechanical, or Aerospace Engineering.

• Minimum GPA of 3.0

Qualifications We Prefer

• Understanding of gas turbine jet engines.
• Knowledge in C++, Python, MATLAB or VBA programming.
• Knowledge about Model Based System Engineering, Cameo Systems Modeler or equivalent software.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
