OverviewIn this role you lead the global software skills strategy for Lear’s E-Systems Electronics group, driving capability building and standardized practices.You’ll work with regional engineering teams to elevate software excellence and enable business growth.You will foster continuous learning, leadership development, and cross-functional collaboration to raise development efficiency and quality.This is a mission-driven opportunity to shape global software capability and align methods across locations.ResponsabilidadesLead global software skills development initiatives and define training programsCoordinate regional teams to create and maintain global standard work products, processes, and best practicesDevelop and mentor software engineering leaders and teams to build technical and leadership capabilitiesDrive innovation and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance software development efficiency and qualityPromote collaboration and knowledge sharing across global software engineering teams to establish common standardsPartner with regional software leaders to harmonize software development methods, tools, and engineering practices across locationsSupport talent reviews, succession planning, performance management, and career development activities with regional leadersCollaborate with engineering leadership, customer groups, and technology teams to address capability gaps and advance development processesRequisitos principales10+ years managing automotive embedded software engineering teams and delivering complex software projectsExtensive experience with automotive software design, development, testing, and build processes (AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR)Strong expertise in ASPICE (assessment prep, execution, improvement)Proven track record of driving innovation, continuous improvement, and organizational capability development in software engineeringBachelors degree in Electronics, Embedded Systems, Computer Engineering, or related fieldMasters degree is advantageouscollaboration and teamworkleadership and mentoringchange management and adaptabilityAutomotive embedded software engineeringAUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR architecturesASPICE assessments and improvements
