Your responsibility is to ensure, from the definition of business requirements through to implementation and delivery, that data solutions are reliable, scalable, and aligned with business needs. You will work closely with business teams and IT to design and deliver high-quality data models, reporting solutions, and analytics capabilities.Theobjectives and scope of the jobare the following:DataSphere and BW System ownership with administration, maintenance and developmentBuild, optimize, and maintain DataSphere models and reporting solutions.Drive global reporting solutions across system landscape.Integrate data from ERP, CRM, finance, and other systems.Partner with business teams to design effective analytics solutions.Analyze and visualize business data to support decisionsCreate dashboards and KPIs in SAP Analytics Cloud and explore new BI tools.Ensure data quality, governance, and compliance (e.g., GDPR)Lead or support BI and digital transformation projects.Apply strong knowledge of SAP Datasphere and SAP ERP (S/4).ResponsibilitiesEnsure availability, quality, consistency, and compliance of company data (incl. data protection and governance).Support the strategic development of Tecan’s data landscape across platformsAdvise management and business units on data-driven decisions.Prioritize, implement, and monitor analysis requirements.Create data models, ETL processes, and related standards.Provision of technical documentation and knowledge transfer within the team.Support cross-functional projects throughout the full lifecycle (Design, Implementation, Testing, Go-live and Hypercare).Enforce consistent application of tools, methods, and standards in data & analytics.Provide documentation, training, and knowledge transfer to colleagues and business users.Your backgroundWe’re not just looking for hard skills: We’re looking for people who bring their passion and talent to work.Extensive experience as a BI specialist/data analyst in SAP HANA.Strong knowledge of SAP Datasphere, SAP ERP (S/4), SAP Analytics Cloud, and ETL Tools.Experience in data modelling, SQL Scripts and performance optimization.Understanding of SAP S4 data structures (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP)Excellent analytical, communication and project management skills.Hands on experience in Project Management.Fluent in English and Spanish; German is a plus.Team player with a structured, independent work style.Degree in Business IT, data science or similar is a nice to have.Experience with OneStream, Salesforce, TableauNext, Power BI would be a plus.What makes working at Tecan uniqueThe chance to make it count and to have an impact on the world of tomorrowWorking in an international and diverse environmentThe chance to grow your career within the companyFeel empowered by our strong and unique company cultureComprehensive compensation and benefits packageJoin Tecan, a great place to work!Read about our recent certification from Great Place to Work.Our purpose.At Tecan we are driven to improve people’s lives and health.
