R10249199 Principal/Sr. Principal Full-Stack Web Developer

Northrop Grumman Defense Systems (NGDS) is seeking a Full-Stack Web Developer to maintain and enhance capabilities in support of DAF CLOUDworks at the Air Force Research Lab (AFRL).

• Bring strong analytical, problem-solving, testing, and troubleshooting skills., * Education / Years of Experience:

• Level 3: o Bachelor’s degree in a Science discipline with 5+ years of software development experience OR master’s degree with 3+ years of related experience OR an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

• Level 4: o Bachelor’s degree in a Science discipline with 8+ years of software development experience OR master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience OR an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree

• Clearance and Certifications:
• Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI
• Ability to obtain IAT Level II certification per DoD 8570.01 (such as CASP+ or Security+) within 60 days of start date
• Technical Experience:
• Experience developing full-stack web applications using technologies such as TypeScript, React, Node.js, CSS, Lambda, APIs, NoSQL databases, and Python
• Experience with UI styling
• Understanding of version control systems (Git)
• Experience in AWS and/or Azure
• Experience developing applications using Agile principles, processes, and tools
• Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks
• Demonstrated experience in cloud adoption, environment prototyping, and data migration

Preferred Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with TS/SCI
• CompTIA Security+ certification or IAT Level II equivalent per DoD 8570.01
• Prior development experience with the Department of Defense (DoD)
• Strong understanding of web security, including WAF, SQL injection and XSS prevention, and authentication/authorization through Zero Trust workflows (IAM, RBAC)
• Experience with GitLab runners and CI/CD pipelines
• Experience with document databases such as DynamoDB
• Exposure to / experience with frameworks such as React, Angular, Java, JavaScript
• Experience with SonarQube or other static code analysis frameworks

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $155,400.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $193,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
