OverviewAs a Senior Data Scientist/Engineer, you will design end-to-end data science solutions for Bayer’s Vegetables Seeds Product Supply initiatives.You’ll partner with crop and digital enablement teams to build ML models and data products that support organizational objectives, while deploying cloud-based applications and APIs.You will collaborate with data engineers and cross-region stakeholders to deliver enterprise dashboards and data-driven solutions, mentoring teammates and shaping digital transformation across the supply landscape.ResponsabilidadesDevelop end-to-end data science solutions for Vegetables Seeds Product Supply projectsCollaborate with crop, digital enablement, and data engineering teams to build ML models, automation jobs, and cloud-based pipelinesDeploy data science projects via cloud-based applications and APIsAlign platform usage with crop science data engineering teams and digital transformation initiativesCommunicate with stakeholders across regions to define analytics requirements and deliver enterprise dashboards and data productsProvide guidance and mentorship to team members to foster a collaborative, innovative environmentRequisitos principalesMaster’s or Ph.D in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or related field or bachelor’s with minimum 5 years’ experienceStrong ML/AI, statistical modeling, and data analysis backgroundProficiency in R/Python, JavaScript, JavaExperience deploying solutions on AWS/Azure/GCPUnderstanding of DevOps, CI/CD, and technologies like Docker, Terraform, CloudFormation, GH Actions, AWS Lambda, EC2, ECSAPI and web app development experience (ReactJS, Shiny, NodeJS, FastAPI)Experience with Google BigQuery, Tibco Spotfire, Tableau, Business Objects; familiarity with SAP, Salesforce, Power AutomateStrong communicationStakeholder managementCollaboration and mentorshipMachine learning techniques (kNN, SVM, tree-based methods)Statistical methods and hypothesis testingCloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
