Manager, Consulting Services Data Migration - Oracle Health

We are looking for an experienced Manager to help lead the design, configuration, activation, and support of Oracle Health EHR (Millennium) data migration solutions for both Federal and Commercial clients. The Consulting team is a group of hard-working, knowledgeable, passionate members who want to shape electronic health record systems for our patients and the care teams who support them.

As a Manager, Consulting Services - Data Migration, you will lead and develop a team of Project Managers responsible for delivering complex technical data migration engagements. You will provide strategic direction, operational oversight, and project governance across the full migration lifecycle, including planning, solution design, build, validation, cutover, and post-go-live support.

You will ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contractual commitments, quality standards, and customer expectations. As a manager you will advise, support and guide technical engagement leaders to manage customer expectations, minimize risk, and ensure project deliverables consistently meet or exceed quality standards. By partnering with technical, clinical, and customer stakeholders, you will proactively identify and mitigate risks, resolve escalations, manage dependencies, and maintain clear communication throughout each engagement.

This position will interact with all levels of the organization and have responsibility for coordinating cross-functionally to ensure project success. You will be responsible for providing and ensuring quality work on customer engagements while coaching and developing a team of technical engagement leaders. Key skills and abilities include people leadership, coaching, influencing, facilitation, presentation, communication, process development, analysis, and problem solving. As a member of the Technology Consulting organization, you are responsible for ensuring that quality projects are delivered in a timely manner, on budget, and to our customers’ satisfaction. Ability to travel as necessary.

Role Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of project managers responsible for managing customer expectations, minimizing risk, and ensure project deliverables consistently meet or exceed quality standards.
• Provide oversight to project teams designing and implementing data migration solutions that meet business, technical, security, and client requirements.
• Provide effective situational leadership for escalations, operational issues, delivery risks, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Successfully oversee data migration activities across consulting services projects, including planning, extraction, transformation, validation, cutover support, and post-live stabilization.
• Drive alignment across engagement leaders, project managers, client stakeholders, technical architects, engineers, and internal Oracle Health teams to support delivery planning, staffing, risk management, and successful outcomes.
• Liaise with, build relationships with, and support collaboration across teams within Oracle Health and Federal Consulting.
• Lead cross-functional program management initiatives, coordinating across multiple teams to drive alignment, execution, and successful outcomes.
• Coach, develop, and support team members through performance feedback, goal setting, development planning, and delivery guidance.

• 5 -10 years of overall experience in leading delivery teams, consulting, data migration, data architecture, or similar role.
• 2 years’ experience in multi-dimensional issue resolution.
• A BS or BA in related fields.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Self-starter capable of independently handling tasks and projects.
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
• Strong presentation skills required.
• Must embrace change and have a proven track record of successful process redesign.
• Ability to function as part of a team and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, evolving work environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience managing project managers or senior technical consultants responsible for data migration delivery.
• Experience with Oracle Health EHR (Millennium), Federal healthcare delivery, Veterans Affairs programs, or large-scale healthcare data migration initiatives.
• Experience with workflow documentation.
• Strong ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to clients, leaders, and stakeholders.
• Healthcare knowledge is strongly preferred.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $92,300 to $209,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

8. Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
