Software Solutions Architect

Southern Glazer’s Wine & Spirits is seeking a Staff Solutions Engineer to design and deliver scalable technology solutions for our wholesale distribution business. You will partner with sales, operations, and supply chain teams to translate requirements into secure, integrated systems that optimize ordering, inventory, and logistics. Responsibilities include solution architecture, hands-on configuration, API integration, data modeling, and technical leadership across projects. You’ll mentor engineers, drive best practices, and support continuous improvement in a fast-paced, people-first culture., * Design and document end-to-end solution architectures for wholesale distribution use cases.

• Collaborate with sales, operations, and supply chain stakeholders to refine technical requirements.
• Implement and integrate systems using APIs, data pipelines, and cloud services.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
• Lead technical design reviews and guide engineering teams during implementation.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote engineering best practices and standards.
• Troubleshoot complex production issues and drive root-cause analysis.
• Continuously evaluate new technologies to improve scalability and reliability.
• Align solutions with enterprise architecture and data strategy.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on platform integrations and upgrades.
