We are looking for an Android Developer for a mobile banking platform in Vienna. The role focuses on implementing new features, refactoring existing functionality and delivering maintainable, high-quality mobile experiences in close cooperation with business analysts and design. Required experience includes 5+ years of Android development, advanced Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, TeamCity and strong automated testing practices.

Project

• develop new features for a mobile banking platform and refactor existing functionality
• build complex UI screens and custom views with Jetpack Compose
• work with advanced Kotlin concepts including coroutines, flows and suspend functions
• support feature specification together with business analysts and collaborate closely with design
• maintain clean, secure and maintainable Android code in an Agile environment
• apply Git Flow or similar branching strategies and use TeamCity in the delivery process

at least 5 years of professional Android development experience

• advanced Kotlin knowledge, including coroutines, flows and suspend functions
• strong practical experience with Jetpack Compose
• experience with Git Flow or similar branching strategies
• advanced knowledge of TeamCity
• strong experience with refactoring, linting, dependency injection and build tooling
• solid understanding of mobile application security concepts
• strong testing discipline across unit, integration and UI testing
• experience working in a dynamic Agile environment
• strong communication and leadership skills and openness to feedback
