Cyber Security Technical Engineer

IT Recruitment is looking for her client NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCIA) for a Cyber Security Technical Engineer. You must be able to perform effectively and efficiently with minimal supervision. You will be embedded in the Transform branch of the NCSC and will be supporting the establishment of the NCSC solution architecture service, as well as cyber security planning and design across various projects. Within the Transform Branch and reporting to the Solutions and Roadmap Service head, the duties of the individual will focus on:

• Solution Architecture Service Support:

o Support the establishment and execution of NCSC solution architecture service delivery as requested, including support to the development of architectural guidance and principles and support to the various NCSC solution architects. * Cybersecurity Coherence Support: o Support NCIA projects through the provisioning of architectural guidance, ensuring the application of coherent design and implementation approaches across the NCIA aligned with NCSC cyber security architecture. * Design Support: o Support NCSC architects and SMEs with the production of architectural design elements in support of current and future implementation projects. * Provisioning of Subject Matter Expertise in Support of Projects: o Support NCSC projects through the provisioning of Subject Matter Expertise (SME) on various Cybersecurity topics, in collaboration and coordination with key NSCS stakeholders.

• Master’s of Science (MSc) degree from an accredited University in a related subject with 8 years postrelated experience, or a Bachelor’s of Science (BSc) degree from an accredited University in a related subject and 11 years post

related experience. * Relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or GIAC Security.

• Extensive knowledge and experience (more than 8 years) in architectural methodology and design principles. Prior experience with TOGAF and Archimate is desirable.

Skill, Knowledge & Experience:

• Good understanding of cyber security principles, best practices, concepts and technology.
• Ability to work independently and in teams to achieve the desired goals, including the ability to monitor and support a team.
• Good communications and writing skills in English.
• Extensive knowledge and experience in at least three of the following domains:

o Public Key Infrastructure; o Cloud Security; o Identity and Access Management; o Cyber Security Monitoring; o Zero Trust; o Cyber Security Incident Management; o Vulnerability Assessment; o Threat Hunting; o Crypto Management and Logistics; o Boundary Protection.
