Job description

A leading organisation within the energy and utilities sector is seeking an experienced SAP IS-U Utilities Consultant to join an ongoing transformation programme. The consultant will be responsible for supporting and optimising SAP IS-U business processes, collaborating with both business and technical teams to ensure successful project delivery. The role is primarily remote and open to candidates based across Europe, with occasional travel required for workshops, testing activities, and key project milestones., * Analyse business requirements and translate them into SAP IS-U solutions

Configure and support SAP IS-U processes across Billing, Device Management and Customer Service
Collaborate with business stakeholders to improve utility-related processes
Support end-to-end Meter-to-Cash activities
Work closely with integration teams on SAP FICA-related processes
Prepare functional specifications and process documentation
Participate in system testing, user acceptance testing and defect resolution
Support deployment, cutover and go-live activities
Provide guidance and recommendations on SAP IS-U best practices

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of SAP IS-U consulting experience
Strong expertise in:
SAP IS-U Billing
SAP IS-U Device Management
SAP IS-U Customer Service
Meter-to-Cash business processes
Proven experience within energy, utilities, electricity, gas or water organisations
Experience integrating SAP IS-U with SAP FICA
Strong understanding of utility industry business processes
Ability to gather requirements and deliver functional solutions
Experience working across the full project lifecycle

Preferred Skills

SAP S/4HANA Utilities experience
Knowledge of Smart Metering solutions
Experience with SAP EDM (Energy Data Management)
Previous involvement in SAP IS-U implementation or migration programmes
Agile project delivery experience, * Based within Europe and able to travel when required
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Independent and proactive approach to delivery
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
Comfortable working within international project teams and remote environments
