Cisco Field Services Engineer

For our client in Drunen we are looking for a Cisco Field Services Engineer. In this role you will carry out a number of tasks, in order that we continue to deliver exceptional services to our clients. As such you will be comfortable being sent to customers to help to deliver projects when required. This might mean pre-staging equipment yourself in our offices in Drunen or liaising with the lead engineer in order to carry out other aspects of pre-staging. You may have to work with the NOC, using your networking knowledge to support customers by phone. So the work is varied. You’ll be based at home unless you’re needed or wanted in the office or on clients site and you will be happy travelling (often outside Netherlands) to deliver projects usually two days to a week on-site at a time. You will:

• Travel to clients to set up and install networks or carry out fixes
• Take delivery of stock
• Be prepared to carry out necessary training when required
• Be the “face of our company” with our clients, being professional, polite and putting the customer first
• Help and mentor more junior members of staff when necessary
• Prepare and liaise with Lead Engineers in order to pre-stage network equipment
• Pre-staging of equipment
• Provide support to clients through our Network Operations Centre
• Help to set up the new office

• 3+ years’ working with Cisco networks.
• Some support experience, dealing with customers directly
• Customer focused positive attitude
• To be based within a “reach” of our offices in Drunen. You will not be based in Drunen in this role, but you need to be able to get to Drunen for meetings or pre-staging when required
