Senior Messaging Integration Architect - London

• We will ask you to define and maintain integration architecture for bureau messaging and external market connectivity.
• You will design end-to-end integration solutions across underwriting, claims, finance, delegated authority, and reporting processes.
• You will establish and govern integration standards, patterns, and architectural principles.
• You will provide architectural leadership and design assurance across multiple projects and programmes.
• You will support integrations with London Market platforms, Lloyds services, brokers, coverholders, bureaus, and third-party providers.
• You will ensure effective message routing, transformation, validation, reconciliation, and exception management.
• You will embed security, resilience, governance, and operational support requirements into all solution designs.
• You will partner with business, delivery, security, data, and vendor teams to deliver practical and scalable architecture solutions.
• You will drive simplification initiatives, improve reuse, and reduce technical debt across the integration landscape.

• We are looking for a candidate with 8 years experience in Integration Architecture or Solution Architecture.
• We require extensive experience within the London Market, Lloyds, or Specialty Insurance sector.
• We need proven experience designing integrations between insurance platforms and external market participants.
• We are looking for strong understanding of API-led, event-driven, message-based, batch, and file-based integration patterns.
• We require experience with data mapping, transformation, validation, and reconciliation processes.
• We need knowledge of integration security, resilience, and governance best practices.
• We are looking for excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• We require experience with ACORD standards, London Market messaging, or bordereaux processes.
• We would value exposure to delegated authority and Lloyds ecosystem platforms.
• We need hands-on knowledge of Azure Integration Services, MuleSoft, Boomi, IBM MQ, Kafka, REST/SOAP, XML, JSON, and managed file transfer technologies.
• We require understanding of cloud and hybrid integration architecture.
• TOGAF or similar architecture framework knowledge is desirable.

The role comes with a salary of £90,000 to £105,000, a 20% bonus, and benefits dependent on experience.
