IT Support TechnicianJob descriptionWe are looking for a technical support professional to join the IT department, eager to learn and grow within the organization.The selected candidate will join a dynamic team and will be responsible for providing technical support to users, participating in various technological areas of the company, and developing a long-term professional career within the organization.This position combines user support tasks, incident and request management, system monitoring, backup administration, and coordination of IT purchasing processes.The selected person will work closely with the rest of the technical team to ensure an efficient, user-focused, and high-quality service.The position is physically located at our offices in Madrid with the possibility of partial remote work.It may also require travel depending on company needs.ResponsibilitiesUser SupportProvide first-level technical support to employees and collaborators.Diagnose and resolve incidents related to computers, operating systems, mobile devices, printers, and corporate applications.Provide in-person, phone, and remote support.Manage user onboarding, modifications, and offboarding according to established procedures.Incident and Helpdesk ManagementHandle incidents and requests logged in the ticketing system.Prioritize, categorize, and track tickets until resolution.Escalate incidents to specialized teams when necessary.System MonitoringMonitor alerts generated by corporate systems and services.Identify potential incidents proactively.Participate in infrastructure maintenance tasks.Backup ManagementVerify the correct execution of backup processes.Maintain the backup robot and manage LTO tapes.Perform periodic restore and data integrity checks.Document backups daily.IT Procurement ManagementManage purchase requests for IT equipment, licenses, and technology services.Request quotes from vendors and coordinate with internal departments, tracking orders until delivery.Maintain an up-to-date asset inventory.OtherInstallation and configuration of company devices.Document procedures, recurring incidents, and solutions.Collaborate with other IT teams (systems, networks, development, cybersecurity) to address requests.Collaborate with other departments, providing solutions to their needs.Required profileEducationHigher vocational training in IT or equivalent.Additional training in systems, networks, or development is a plus.Technical knowledgeExperience with Windows, Linux, and macOS operating systems.Basic knowledge of Active Directory and Entra ID.Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).Experience with ticketing and helpdesk tools.Basic PowerShell scripting knowledge.Minimum 1–2 years of experience in technical support or helpdesk roles.Valued:Basic knowledge of development tools.Systems virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V).Windows/Linux server administration.Microsoft 365 administration.Microsoft Configuration Manager.Cloud computing (AWS / Azure).Personal skillsService orientation and user satisfaction focus.Communication and teamwork skills.Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities and multiple tasks simultaneously.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Proactivity, initiative, and willingness to continuously learn.Good writing skills and ability to document processes.LanguagesSpanish: High levelEnglish: Intermediate levelWhat we offerPermanent full-time contract.Be part of a dynamic and collaborative team in our Madrid offices.Active participation in technological projects.Work environment that encourages continuous learning, autonomy, and initiative.Opportunity to build a professional career with continuous training in new technologies.Good working atmosphere and a culture of collaboration across teams.MOTOGP is an inclusive company and guarantees respect for the diversity of its employees.The company does not discriminate due to gender, age, race, culture, physical ability, or any other reason.Candidates will never be eliminated from consideration due to any of those stated factors.#J-*****-Ljbffr
