Principal Engineer, Software R&D

As a Principal Software Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications using the .NET framework. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet our clients’ needs. This position requires strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous learning., * Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications and services using C# and the .NET framework.

• Collaborate with product managers, architects, developers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements and solution designs.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and GraphQL services that support modern application and integration needs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and high-quality code following established software engineering principles and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software defects, performance bottlenecks, and production issues.
• Partner with DevOps and engineering teams to support modern software delivery practices, including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Mentor and guide team members while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.

• 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on the .NET ecosystem, including C#, Web APIs, and modern application development practices.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and optimizing applications using SQL Server or other relational database technologies.
• Experience building and consuming HTTP-based services, including RESTful APIs and GraphQL architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Object Relational Mapping (ORM) technologies such as Entity Framework, Dapper, or similar data access frameworks.
• Experience building and supporting cloud-based solutions within Microsoft Azure and/or AWS environments.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and scalable application design principles.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and modern software delivery methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with experience working effectively in Agile environments and contributing to technical leadership initiatives.
