Senior Technical Lead

Build and maintain production-grade, cloud-native microservices to integrate Visa Pismo APIs with enterprise banking systems such as channels, fraud, sanctions, general ledger, and reporting platforms. The role focuses on event-driven architecture, API integration, CI/CD, and observability, supporting dual-write migration from Hogan to Pismo. Key Responsibilities

• Develop high-performance, event-driven microservices using Kafka/MSK with low latency and high throughput
• Build and integrate Pismo APIs with enterprise systems (channels, fraud, GL, reporting)
• Implement contract testing (Pact) and API validation frameworks
• Design and integrate observability (OpenTelemetry, logging, tracing, metrics)
• Deliver CI/CD-enabled solutions with secure SDLC practices
• Implement policy-as-code and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, AWS)
• Collaborate with Hogan SME for dual-write integration, rollback strategies, and migration support

• 7+ years of experience in backend/microservices development (Java / Kotlin / Go)

• Strong expertise in:

• Spring Boot / Microservices architecture
• AWS (EKS, Lambda, MSK, DynamoDB)
• Event-driven systems (Kafka/MSK)

• Experience with:

• API testing (Karate, RestAssured)
• Contract testing (Pact)
• CI/CD (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Observability tools (OpenTelemetry)
• Strong understanding of secure SDLC and production-grade engineering practices

Other Requirements

• Hands-on experience with Pismo API integration
• Knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging (pacs/pain formats)
• Experience with Terraform (Infrastructure-as-Code)
• Exposure to banking/payments systems and migrations
