This contract role offers work-from-home flexibility and is ideal for someone with strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience working with trading partners, and a passion for improving data integration processes.

The EDI Specialist will collaborate with internal teams, customers, vendors, and third-party providers to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient electronic document exchanges across multiple business functions., * Manage daily EDI transactions and monitor data flow to ensure successful processing.

• Troubleshoot and resolve EDI errors, mapping issues, and system integration problems.
• Configure, test, and maintain EDI transactions including but not limited to 850, 810, 856, 940, and 945 documents.
• Coordinate onboarding and implementation activities for new trading partners.
• Analyze EDI requirements and develop mapping specifications to support business needs.
• Work closely with customers, vendors, and internal stakeholders to resolve transmission and data discrepancies.
• Monitor EDI performance and proactively identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Create and maintain documentation related to EDI processes, standards, mappings, and workflows.
• Support ERP, WMS, and TMS integrations connected to EDI transactions.
• Assist with system upgrades, testing initiatives, and process enhancements.

• 2+ years of experience supporting EDI environments.
• Strong understanding of ANSI X12 transaction sets and EDI communication protocols.
• Experience with EDI mapping, testing, implementation, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of ERP systems and system integrations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and data analysis tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with EDI platforms such as SPS Commerce, TrueCommerce, Cleo, OpenText, Gentran, or similar solutions.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or supply chain operations.
• Knowledge of SQL or database querying tools.
