AI Solutioning Consultant - Microsoft Copilot Studio - Boston or Philly

Position Overview Our client is seeking a hands-on AI Solutioning Consultant to join its AI Enablement team. This individual will design, build, test, and refine AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio and the Microsoft Power Platform.

The consultant will work directly with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate them into practical AI solutions, and support adoption within established governance and security standards.

This is a hands-on solution-building and consulting role. Project or program management experience is not required.

Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and test AI agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio.
• Build topics, prompts, actions, connectors, and workflows.
• Use Power Automate, Dataverse, SharePoint, Teams, and other Microsoft tools.
• Gather requirements and assess the feasibility of Copilot-based solutions.
• Apply prompt engineering, prompt testing, grounding, and retrieval-augmented generation techniques.
• Connect agents to approved enterprise data sources and knowledge repositories.
• Troubleshoot and refine agents based on testing and stakeholder feedback.
• Create documentation, reusable templates, and development standards.
• Guide business users and citizen developers in building agents within approved guardrails.
• Partner with platform, security, risk, compliance, and governance teams.
• Help define success criteria and evaluate the effectiveness of delivered solutions.

• Five or more years of experience in technical consulting, solutions engineering, business analysis, low-code development, automation, or a related field.
• At least five years working with generative AI, machine learning, AI automation, or related technologies.
• Hands-on experience building agents, bots, workflows, or automations in Microsoft Copilot Studio or Power Virtual Agents.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Automate and working knowledge of Dataverse.
• Knowledge of prompt engineering, prompt testing, grounding, RAG, and enterprise data sources.
• Strong requirements-gathering and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
• Microsoft associate-level certification in a relevant field, with a verifiable credential ID.
• U.S. Citizenship or Green Card status.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial services, asset management, banking, or another regulated industry.
• Experience integrating Copilot Studio with Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Microsoft 365, Graph connectors, or enterprise systems.
• Experience supporting citizen developers or business users.
• Familiarity with AI governance, responsible AI, data protection, and security practices.
• Experience with GitHub Copilot, Azure AI Foundry, Claude, or similar enterprise AI tools.

Success in This Role The successful candidate will be able to take a business idea, determine whether Copilot Studio is an appropriate solution, build and thoroughly test a working agent, and guide it toward production use within established security and governance requirements.
