Job description

  • Evaluate tools and platforms across semantic layers, data context, knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, and AI enablement.
  • Assess technologies against requirements and make build-versus-adopt recommendations.
  • Design and deliver working pilots for the strongest solutions.
  • Determine how existing semantic layers and data definitions can integrate with the chosen approach.
  • Onboard additional business and data domains to expand content and knowledge coverage.
  • Support cross-functional alignment on metrics, definitions, terminology, and business concepts before codification.
  • Develop repeatable playbooks and onboarding processes for future domain adoption.
  • Author and maintain AI rules, skills, configurations, and supporting files for effective knowledge layer consumption.
  • Integrate solutions via Python, SQL, APIs, or configuration.
  • Communicate progress, technical trade-offs, risks, and dependencies to stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following: semantic layers, knowledge graphs, retrieval systems, AI/agent tooling.
  • Strong SQL skills, including working with data definitions and semantic content.
  • Proficiency with Python in a data science environment.
  • Hands-on experience with modern AI tools and technologies.
  • Ability to evaluate technologies, develop solutions, and carry projects from evaluation to adoption independently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and autonomy.
  • Experience partnering with multiple technical and business teams, including external stakeholders.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in explaining technical trade-offs and recommendations.
