Enterprise Architect

You will work in a central practice that looks across the enterprise, supporting individual project teams and helping manage shared platforms that support IT activities globally. This role will ensure that Colgate-Palmolive’s technology investments support our business objectives to enable us to achieve our strategic and operational goals.

The ideal candidate should possess extensive experience in technology design, implementation and strategy. The role involves balancing the technical and business considerations to drive innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Involvement
• Create and manage the Application Architecture framework, including technology, data, and security architecture.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and apply technology solutions that support growth and efficiency goals.
• Ensure the technological infrastructure supports Colgate-Palmolive’s long-term goals.
• Review new technologies being brought into Colgate’s environment to ensure architecture, security and reliability best practices are being followed and align to Colgate’s strategy.
• Technology Evaluation and Selection
• Collaborate with senior architects and delivery teams to design and implement robust technology solutions.
• Provide efficient Gap analysis of existing technology stack and target architecture.
• Identify and evaluate new technologies to identify their impact on the application architecture and Colgate.
• Development and Expansion of Platforms
• Support and develop enhancements and improvements to internal applications owned by the Architecture teams.
• Enhance AI and Agentic capabilities of these platforms
• Governance and Standards
• Ensure architecture decisions align with industry standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Establish and implement the architectural standards and guidelines.
• Lead the architecture governance processes to ensure compliance with the architectural vision.
• Integration and Interoperability
• Design and implement integration solutions for various enterprise systems to ensure flawless communication and data exchange.

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 4+ years of proven ability in IT as an Application/Enterprise Architect with expertise in handling large-scale, sophisticated projects & landscapes, particularly those requiring turnaround, stabilization and turning point decisions on architecture., * Experience in supporting organizations in aligning business goals and organisation strategies.
• Experience with Application Architecture design and best practices.
• Familiarity with modern programming languages and frameworks such as Python, TypeScript, React, Django, etc.
• Familiarity with code repositories (e.g. GitHub), programming IDEs (e.g. Visual Studio Code, Devin, Antigravity), and software development practices
• Experience and knowledge of working with Business Architecture (Capability Maps, Process Maps, building the Enterprise Architecture model, models to reflect strategies and goals).

Salary Range $96,800.00 - $137,000.00 USD

Pay is determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Salaried employees may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives for Executive-level roles.

Additional benefits include a minimum of 15 vacation/PTO days (hourly employees receive a minimum of 120 hours) and 13 paid holidays (vacation days are prorated based on the employee’s hire date within the calendar year). Paid sick leave is adjusted based on role and location in accordance with local laws. Detailed information regarding paid sick leave entitlements will be provided to employees upon hiring and may be subject to adjustments based on changes in legislation or company policies.
