Cloud Security Administrator

The Cloud Security Administrator is responsible for assisting the Information Security Manager in supporting day-to-day operations associated with securing the firm’s cloud presence, including but not limited to collaborating with the rest of the Information Security team, our Managed Security Services Provider, Networking, Innovations (DevOps), and other groups both in and outside the IT Department that manage cloud solutions to ensure security controls are appropriately configured and maintained.The Cloud Security Administrator would also be performing audits of firm cloud systems, participating in incident response, and assisting with client security audits.

This is a remote position, 5 days a week, Monday through Friday.

Your Role:

As a Cloud Security Administrator within our Information Technology - Security team you will:

• Ensure proper employment of security solutions including, but not limited to, Cloud Security Posture Management, SIEM, and other cloud security settings working with appropriate Information Services functions as required
• Help teams securely deploy resources in our cloud environment
• Administer cloud-based privilege access and conduct regular access reviews
• Implement and monitor cloud-based security baselines and controls

• Monitor Security Posture of firm cloud-based resources

• Proactively review security events via the firm’s SIEM solution and

security dashboards

• Monitor resources to identify and respond to vulnerabilities and

anomalous activity

• Work with DevOps to monitor/maintain/improve the security posture of their code and pipelines
• Participate in incident response as part of the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT)
• Assist with audits and questionnaires
• Be part of a call tree to handle incidents that may arise after hours

• Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines independently., * Bachelor’s degree in computer science, cybersecurity, information technology, or a closely related field
• 3-5 years of relevant experience (CISSP helpful)
• Demonstrate a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft cloud technologies (i.e. Azure, o365, etc.)
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting & interpersonal skills
• Excellent communication skills

is from $105,000 - $125,000, which reflects the firm’s good faith and reasonable estimate of possible compensation at the time of posting. Actual pay will depend on several factors such as the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location.
