Mendix Low-Code Expert

Are you ready to discover the role of a Mendix Low-Code Expert in Netcompany? We are looking for a Mendix Low-Code Expert to design, develop and maintain business applications within the GSC’s technology environment. Working as part of agile, multidisciplinary teams, you will collaborate with business analysts, UX/UI designers, testers and project managers to turn business requirements into secure, accessible and maintainable digital solutions. You will also contribute to shared development standards, reusable components and best practices across the Mendix application portfolio. As a Mendix Low-Code Expert you will:

• Translate user stories and business requirements into robust Mendix applications, including domain models, workflows, user interfaces and security roles.
• Design and implement integrations with internal and external systems using APIs, database connectors and enterprise authentication mechanisms such as SAML and OIDC.
• Develop reusable modules, widgets and components in line with established development standards and contribute to a shared Mendix component library.
• Apply secure-by-design principles, role-based access control and data protection requirements throughout the application lifecycle.
• Develop accessible user interfaces in line with WCAG 2.1 AA requirements.
• Write unit and automated tests, participate in code reviews and use Mendix Quality Add-ons or equivalent tools to monitor quality and manage technical debt.
• Support application deployment, release management and third-level production maintenance.
• Produce and maintain clear technical documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.

What would make you a fit for the role:

• At least 5 years of IT development experience, including a minimum of 3 years of hands-on Mendix development.
• Mendix Advanced Developer certification or higher.
• Proven experience delivering at least two Mendix applications into production, including integration with enterprise systems.
• Practical experience with Mendix 10 or later, including on-premises or private-cloud deployments.
• Working knowledge of Java and JavaScript, particularly for custom actions, widgets or other Mendix extensions.
• Experience working in Scrum or another agile development framework and collaborating effectively in multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong understanding of software development principles, including application security, testing, integration and maintainability.
• English at C1 level; knowledge of French is an asset.

It would also be a plus if you match some of the following:

• Mendix Expert certification.
• Experience working within an EU institution or public administration.
• Experience with Mendix AI capabilities, such as GenAI connectors or Maia.
