Principal BMS Engineer

You will engage with clients to understand their requirements, prepare reports, specifications, design notes and commissioning documentation, and communicate technical concepts through clear diagrams, flow charts and system topologies. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of BMS functionality, major BMS manufacturers, control systems, communication protocols and the integration of BMS with wider ICT and building systems. You will also support the evaluation and optimisation of BMS installations to improve energy efficiency, reliability and overall system performance. A working knowledge of Revit, CAD and Microsoft Office 365 is required. An understanding of ICT, IoT, cybersecurity and audiovisual systems would also be advantageous. About YouYou will be an experienced BMS professional with a strong understanding of BMS design, implementation and integration, as well as relevant regulations and industry best practice.You will have:Confident client-facing and interpersonal skills.Strong technical report-writing and communication abilities.The ability to explain complex technical information clearly.Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.The ability to manage deadlines and deliver high-quality technical work.A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.A willingness to support colleagues and contribute to the development of the BMS Specialist Department.
