XML, Were partnering with one of the regions most prestigious organisations, a globally renowned major local employer, to hire a Developer skilled in PL/SQL and Java for a core Technology Team. The team processes and maps vital data that integrates with other essential platforms. This is a one-year fixed-term contract based in Liverpool, with hybrid working and two days onsite each week. The salary is £39,000-£45,000, with a 21.5% pension, 30 days of base leave plus discretionary days and bank holidays, and a strong commitment to ongoing professional development. Support to upskill will be offered to candidates with core PL/SQL and Java development experience.

Requirements

Extensive expertise developing Oracle PL/SQL in a complex relational database
Extensive expertise developing on Oracle 12 or 19 databases
Extensive expertise with HTML, XML/JSON, CSS and JavaScript
Experience programming in Java or C#
Exceptional communication skills
Ability to commute to central Liverpool and work onsite two days a week
Experience supporting Higher Education platforms such as Banner is highly advantageous
