Full Stack Developer

• Youll code on the front end and back end of one of our systems, typically using TypeScript and Scala, to contribute to your teams objectives.
• Youll work in a cross-functional team to iterate rapidly and release new features.
• Youll collaborate with other developers through activities such as pair programming and work closely with editorial and commercial colleagues.
• Youll contribute to product decisions as well as technical decisions.
• You may build products that showcase our journalism, tools that help journalists tell stories, or services that distribute and monetise stories around the world.

• Were looking for a full-stack engineer comfortable working on both the back end and front end.
• You should have solid back-end knowledge in Scala or an equivalent programming language. Familiarity with Scala is not required.
• You should be familiar with TypeScript or, if you have a JavaScript background, be willing to learn TypeScript on the job.

The starting salary is £57,000 per annum.
