IT Business Partner

• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, understand their needs, and develop scalable, future-proof solutions
• Serve as a trusted point of contact for business stakeholders
• Contribute to the management and development of our data governance provisions, supporting integration and continuous improvement
• Ensure data products and application services from partners and vendors comply with our governance policies and best practices, and identify opportunities for improvement
• Provide data-driven insights to support business decisions and reporting
• Support team members and business users with applications, business processes, and underlying data structures
• Facilitate access to high-quality data for internal teams, external regulators, and partners
• Work with project managers and business and technical owners to support new and ongoing projects, helping deliver them on time and within budget while maximizing value and impact
• Work closely with our Data Governance team to provide high-quality service
• Help advance our Business Partner capability and improve our Application Management and Data Governance disciplines in collaboration with the wider Business Partner community
• Represent the IT department and align technical capabilities with organizational goals

Technologies:

• University education in data, applications, or architecture, or equivalent work experience
• Several years of experience in Finance or Banking
• At least 3 years of experience in the financial sector, preferably banking or credit
• Strong technical understanding and ability to communicate and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience driving change and influencing the development of data and IT solutions
• Ability to work strategically and operationally, from planning through practical implementation
• Hands-on experience with SQL and the ability to extract and analyse data
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills
• Experience contributing to or shaping data strategy and translating business needs into actionable data initiatives
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Results-oriented approach and commitment to high-quality solutions, best practices, and achieving objectives
• Passion for technology and emerging trends in data and IT
• Ability to create clarity and structure while remaining flexible in a dynamic environment
