Technical Lead, Verification

• Develop, enhance, and support our business-critical Verification platform, including real-time facial recognition systems using AI technology and core operational tooling.
• Drive the development and implementation of robust verification systems while upholding high software quality standards.
• Provide technical leadership to empower developers to deliver reliable solutions and foster a collaborative environment.
• Apply governance to solution design, code quality, and coding standards.
• Help drive the delivery of scalable, maintainable, and performant systems.
• Act as a point of escalation for the team, both in and out of office hours.
• Review the teams adherence to standards and its output, and ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Estimate work, produce solution documents, and ensure effort is accurately represented and delivered.
• Understand the technical structure, domain, and architecture of the teams systems, including their development and production configurations.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including managers and Architects, to create fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Own technical solutions from development through to live operation at a low level.
• Share knowledge and mentor team members.

• Proven track record in high-availability, multi-browser-compatible development.

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a relevant discipline, or relevant professional experience.
