Embedded Firmware Engineer - Cambridge, UK - 2 Year Contract - Life SciencesOur client is a global leader in pharmaceutical innovation, specialising in the development and manufacture of cutting-edge drugs. As they continue to grow, they’re seeking an experienced Embedded Firmware Engineer to support their dynamic team and drive forward groundbreaking projects in Cambridge.What you’ll deliver:Design, develop, debug, and optimise embedded firmware for low-power STM32-based IoT devices and connected products.Integrate GNSS modules, LoRa/LoRaWAN communications, and hardware peripherals to deliver robust, production-ready solutions.Develop and maintain embedded software within an RTOS environment, ensuring reliability, performance, and maintainability.Collaborate with multidisciplinary software, hardware, systems, integration, and test teams to deliver high-quality products across the full development lifecycle.What you’ll need:Extensive embedded software engineering experience developing

Requirements

embedded systems using C/C++.Strong hand-on experience with STM32 microcontrollers, embedded debugging, and low-power battery-operated devices.Experience integrating GNSS modules, LoRa or LoRaWAN communications, embedded peripherals, and RTOS-based applications (preferably FreeRTOS).Ability to independently deliver production-ready firmware, with strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary engineering teams. #J-18808-Ljbffr
