Job description

Review business requirements and functional specifications, and define appropriate test conditions
Execute test scripts, test scenarios, and test cases across various test stages
Facilitate test planning, estimation, and risk assessment activities
Perform defect management, triage, investigation, and support resolution activities
Produce clear and concise test reports for stakeholders and senior management
Validate source-to-target mappings, data transformations, reconciliation, and data migration activities
Design and create synthetic test data to validate data quality, business rules, mappings, and ETL processes
Identify, analyse, and resolve data quality issues including completeness, accuracy, consistency, and integrity

Requirements

Strong SQL and database knowledge, particularly Oracle and data warehouse structures
Experience testing Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) data integration solutions
Experience testing SAS data pipelines, batch processes, and data transformations
Strong understanding of ETL/ELT testing methodologies and data warehouse testing principles
Knowledge of test management and defect management tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or equivalent
Experience with test automation approaches for data and ETL testing
