Job description

We are responsible for the development and delivery of all client-side aspects of our product.
We develop new features and launch new platforms.
We design and build world-leading streaming services across web, mobile, and TV platforms.
We work on new feature releases and evolve the next phase of our application framework.
We deliver high-quality, robust, and testable code in line with our internal engineering procedures, code conventions, and development methodologies.
We contribute to comprehensive documentation that supports development and support lifecycles.
We continually improve software deployment to enable iterative releases and rapid updates across all platforms.
We mentor and support other developers in their day-to-day work.
We monitor system performance and resolve issues or failures in staging or production environments.

Requirements

Must have experience with JavaScript, including vanilla JS, prototypes, scoping, design patterns, and memory profiling.
Track record of successful software delivery through all phases of development, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
Working knowledge of object-oriented design, design patterns, and extreme programming.
Familiar with build automation and continuous integration.
Ability to write unit tests using JavaScript in a common library such as Jasmine.
Experience of working in an Agile software development environment.
Experience with Node.js or other programming languages is desirable.
Cross-platform development experience, preferably on smart TV and consoles, is desirable.
Experience developing a high-profile digital video service is desirable.
Test-driven development experience is desirable.
Experience with AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes is desirable.
