Job description

Expected pay for this position is $25.53 - $30.04/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position. Overview Third shift nights. 12 hour shift. 6:30pm-7:00am Currently the imcumbent will be allowed to work from home 1 day per week of their choice with the rest of the week working in office (this hyrbrid work schedule is subject to change at discretion of leadership). POSITION SUMMARY: The IT Clinical Support Specialist provides Tier 1 support for clinical applications and technology services utilized by internal and external clients. This position focuses on routine troubleshooting, user support, and the maintenance of healthcare technology systems that support clinical operations. Responsibilities include receiving, documenting, investigating, and resolving routine cases and incidents affecting clinical workflows and applications. The specialist serves as a key point of contact between end users and technical support teams, ensuring issues are accurately documented, appropriately prioritized, and escalated when necessary. This position contributes to the delivery of safe, efficient, and reliable patient care by supporting the effective use of clinical technologies and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Requirements

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: High School Diploma/ GED Experience: One year of experience in information technology support, service desk support, healthcare operations, clinical support, customer service, or a related field. Other Skills/ Knowledge: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Associate degree in information technology, healthcare informatics, health information management, nursing, clinical healthcare, computer science, or related fields. Experience: Experience supporting healthcare technologies or electronic health record systems. Experience utilizing ticketing or ITSM platforms. OSF HealthCare is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
