Industrialization Project Manager

We are looking for an experienced Industrialization Project Manager to manage tooling and industrial equipment projects from planning through installation and commissioning. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in manufacturing/industrial environments, project management, procurement, and vendor management., Project Planning & Execution

• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for tooling and equipment projects.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and suppliers.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to specifications.

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Source and evaluate suppliers for tooling and industrial equipment.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, delivery terms, and other commercial requirements.
• Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards.
• Coordinate procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle.

Installation & Commissioning

• Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial equipment and tooling.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Validate equipment performance and coordinate successful handover to Operations.
• Work with Engineering, Maintenance, and suppliers to resolve installation issues.

Budget & Reporting

• Track project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
• Prepare regular project status reports for stakeholders and management.
• Monitor project milestones, schedules, and deliverables.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost efficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven experience with tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industrial equipment specifications.
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Experience with MS Project, SAP, or similar project management/ERP tools.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and cross-functional coordination skills., * PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience managing capital equipment/tooling projects from procurement through commissioning.
