Job description

Johnson Controls is seeking an HVAC S&F Lead Systems Specialist to lead field installation, commissioning, and service of advanced HVAC control and building automation systems for manufacturing and commercial customers. In this role, you will configure and program controls, optimize system performance, troubleshoot complex issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. You will coordinate field activities, guide technicians, and collaborate with engineering and project teams.   • Configure, program, and optimize building automation and control systems for performance and energy efficiency
  • Troubleshoot complex HVAC and controls issues, perform diagnostics, and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate field activities, schedules, and resources with project managers, subcontractors, and customers
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, codes, and Johnson Controls quality procedures
  • Document system designs, test results, changes, and service reports accurately
  • Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and on-the-job training to junior technicians and specialists
  • Support integration of HVAC systems with smart building and enterprise platforms
  • Collaborate with engineering and sales teams to review specifications and support project planning
  • Interface with customers on-site to explain system operation and recommend improvements
