Job description

We are seeking an Android Engineer to design, develop, and enhance high-performance mobile applications used by millions of users. The ideal candidate is passionate about building scalable Android solutions, solving complex technical challenges, and delivering exceptional user experiences in a collaborative Agile environment., Design, develop, and maintain Android applications using modern development practices. Collaborate with Product Owners, Designers, QA, and Engineering teams to deliver high-quality features. Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code while improving legacy systems. Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated testing frameworks. Requirements

Strong experience building Android applications. Proficiency in Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow, and Android SDK. Experience with Jetpack Compose and MVI Architecture. Strong understanding of REST APIs, OkHttp, and backend integrations. Hands-on experience with Gradle, GitHub Actions, and CircleCI. Experience with asynchronous programming, performance optimization, and debugging. Knowledge of unit and integration testing using JUnit, Espresso, WireMock, and Test Fakes. Experience working with legacy codebases and modernizing applications. Familiarity with CI/CD practices, source control, and Agile development methodologies. Strong problem-solving, communication, and time-management skills. Ability to work effectively within distributed global teams. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Dagger dependency injection. Familiarity with RxJava and RAML API documentation. Contributions to open-source projects. Experience designing solutions for complex and ambiguous business problems.
