Sap Fico Consultant

Harrington Boyd are currently working with a global manufacturing client who are searching for a Senior SAP FICO Consultant to join their team in Barcelona. This is a permanent position that offers hybrid working, with the opportunity to work from home 2 - 3 days per week.Key responsibilities:Convert business requirements into functional deliverables and prioritised backlog items.Own backlog management, prioritisation, and roadmap planning.Coordinate delivery across business, SAP, and technical teams.Support the design and implementation of data, reporting, and analytics solutions.Enhance data quality, governance, and reporting capabilities across the organisation.Support SAP-driven transformation initiatives by aligning data, reporting, and process improvements with evolving business requirements.We are searching for the following skills & experience:Very good experience working with the SAP FICO modulesGood knowledge of one or more of the following areas: accounting, controlling, record-to-report, planning, consolidation, intercompany, tax, treasury, working capital, or performance managementUnderstanding of core Finance data objects and conceptsSome understanding of enterprise finance data ecosystems, including data ingestion, modelling, transformation, semantic layers, analytics, AI enablement, and data governanceExperience working with S/4HANA is very desirableStrong stakeholder management and communication skillsFluency in English, Spanish skills would be advantageousIf this position could be of interest to you or anyone else within your network, please share a copy of your updated CV for consideration.
