Job description

Seeking a hands-on Java Security / Site Reliability Engineer to support production Java applications and help migrate security features to HashiCorp Vault. The role combines secure application development, operational support, DevOps, and SRE practices. Key Responsibilities

Maintain, develop, test, and support Java-based production applications.
Develop secure application capabilities using Spring and Spring Security.
Support migration of security features to HashiCorp Vault.
Perform bug fixes, automation, DevOps, and operational support.
Develop integrations and onboard enterprise tools.
Troubleshoot using logs, thread dumps, and network traces.
Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and Agile ceremonies.
Apply Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.

Requirements

Strong Java, Spring, and Spring Security experience.
Strong understanding of data security and sensitive information protection.
Knowledge of HTTP/REST, TLS/SSL, authentication, and authorization.
Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.
Enterprise application operations and engineering experience.
Understanding of SRE best practices.
Knowledge of security standards and least-privilege principles.

Preferred Skills

Experience with HashiCorp Vault or secrets-management platforms.
Experience with IAM or credential-management applications.
Financial services or regulated enterprise experience.
Experience with incident and vulnerability management.
