and release governance processes Contribute to sprint planning, refinement, and other agile ceremonies Support continuous improvement of automation, observability, and platform reliability Required Skills & Experience Experience in a DevOps, Platform Engineering, or Infrastructure Engineering role Hands-on experience with Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure as code Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab Proficiency in Bash and Python Scripting for automation Experience with Kong (CE/EE) and/or Nginx for API gateway/reverse Proxy management Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, and Alert Manager for monitoring and alerting Working knowledge of AWS compute and container services: EC2, Auto Scaling Groups, ECS, ECR Solid understanding of AWS networking and security: Route53, Security Groups, IAM, ACM, KMS Experience with CloudFormation for infrastructure deployment Experience managing S3 storage in a production environment Comfortable working within established processes and escalating appropriately, while developing toward greater independent ownership Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Additional Information SFIA Level: 4 Security Clearance: Active SC Clearance required Location: Newcastle, Manchester, or Leeds (in-office one day per week) Our Interview Process We keep things straightforward.
