Infrastructure Engineer

We’re recruiting for a well-established Managed Service Provider looking to add a Projects Engineer to its growing technical team. You’ll deliver a mixture of cloud migrations, infrastructure upgrades, networking installations and security projects for customers across the South East.

This is a hands-on position where you’ll manage your own technical workload, work directly with customers and play an important part in delivering projects from planning through to completion.

• Microsoft 365 migrations and configuration
• Server installations and infrastructure upgrades
• Network, Wi-Fi and firewall deployments
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions
• Endpoint security and MFA rollouts
• Virtualisation projects
• Customer site installations
• Technical documentation and project handovers

You’ll work alongside the Projects Manager to plan delivery, manage timescales and provide clear progress updates. You’ll also identify potential issues early and ensure project records and documentation remain accurate., * Microsoft 365, including Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive and Entra ID

• Windows Server and Active Directory
• Networking technologies such as DNS, DHCP, VLANs, switching and VPNs
• Hyper-V
• Backup and disaster recovery
• Endpoint security and multi-factor authentication
• Business Wi-Fi configuration and deployment

You should be comfortable dealing directly with customers, managing competing priorities and taking responsibility for delivering work to agreed standards.

This role would suit someone who is technically strong but also organised, dependable and confident dealing with customers.

• Produce clear and accurate documentation, The position is based in West Sussex and involves travel to customer sites across the South East and London.

A full UK driving licence is required.
