QuickBase Integration & Data Automation Developer

The Quickbase Integration & Data Automation Developer is responsible for developing and maintaining data integration solutions that automate the ingestion, transformation, remediation, and synchronization of contracting and provider data within the Quickbase platform, while assisting team members with solution design and data architecture decisions. A major focus of this role will be supporting a significant change to the provider data received and uploaded into Quickbase, including interpreting new provider data specifications, mapping revised data structures into existing Quickbase applications, and remediating impacted applications, tables, relationships, workflows, reports, and automations. This role will help build scalable Quickbase applications and integrations that load complex contracting and provider data into one-to-many relational Quickbase tables, automate provider data imports, perform data validation and reconciliation, and leverage the resulting datasets to drive operational workflows, compliance processes, and business automation.

The ideal candidate has deep experience with Quickbase data architecture, REST APIs, JSON processing, Pipelines, ETL processes, and workflow automation.

Key Responsibilities

Data Integration & ETL Development

Assist with the design and development of automated processes to ingest contracting JSON files into Quickbase. Build and maintain one-to-many and many-to-many data relationships supporting complex contract structures. Support team-defined data mapping frameworks between source files and Quickbase tables. Create automated imports for provider data from external systems and file feeds. Analyze new provider data files, field definitions, and data specifications to determine required Quickbase table, field, and relationship changes. Develop migration and transition processes to bring revised provider data into Quickbase while maintaining data integrity and continuity with existing contracting workflows. Develop ETL processes to: Extract data from APIs, JSON, CSV, Excel, and flat files Transform and normalize incoming datasets Load data into appropriate Quickbase tables Manage file-based integrations including SFTP, APIs, webhooks, and scheduled imports. Create robust exception handling and error reporting mechanisms. Data Remediation & Reconciliation

Assist with implementing automated data matching and remediation processes based on team-defined design direction. Reconcile contract data against provider datasets. Identify and resolve: Missing records Duplicate records Data inconsistencies Invalid provider identifiers Contract-provider relationship issues Create dashboards and audits to monitor data quality. Develop workflows that flag records requiring manual review. Build exception queues and remediation workflows. Quickbase Solution Development

Assist with solution design and build Quickbase applications, tables, relationships, forms, reports, and dashboards based on agreed requirements. Implement scalable data models supporting: Providers Contracts Networks Facilities Affiliations Contract terms Workflow transactions Develop advanced Quickbase formulas and summary fields. Configure role-based security and governance controls. Optimize application performance for large datasets. Remediate existing Quickbase applications impacted by new provider data structures, including table design, field definitions, formulas, relationships, dashboards, reports, forms, workflows, and automations. Workflow Automation

Assist with design and develop Quickbase Pipelines for integration and workflow processing. Build event-driven and scheduled automations. Troubleshoot and optimize pipeline performance. API & Integration Development

Develop and maintain integrations using: Quickbase REST API JSON External REST APIs Webhooks SFTP Create reusable integration components and services. Develop data mapping and transformation specifications. Maintain technical integration documentation. Business Process Automation

Collaborate with business and operational stakeholders to understand contracting and provider management processes. Translate business requirements into technical configuration and implementation tasks in collaboration with team members responsible for solution design. Recommend automation opportunities and workflow improvements. Support testing, deployment, and user training. Participate in solution architecture and governance reviews., Successful automated ingestion of contracting JSON files into Quickbase. Accurate loading and synchronization of provider data feeds. Successful transition to the revised provider data layout, including accurate mapping, import, validation, and remediation of impacted Quickbase applications. Reduction in manual data remediation activities. Improvement in contract-provider matching accuracy. Reliability and performance of integrations and pipelines. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of experience building solutions on the Quickbase platform. 3+ years of experience integrating external data sources with business applications. Strong experience with: Quickbase Pipelines Quickbase Relationships Formula Queries Summary Fields Quickbase REST API JSON processing Data mapping Experience loading and transforming large JSON datasets. Experience supporting one-to-many relational data models and implementing application changes based on defined data architecture. Experience developing automated reconciliation and remediation workflows. Experience interpreting changing data specifications and modifying existing applications or integrations to align with new source data requirements. Strong SQL and data analysis skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Preferred Qualifications
