Job description

Engage in all phases of the software development life cycle which include gathering and analyzing user/business system requirements, responding to outages and creating application system models.
Documenting detailed system specifications and will participate in evaluating, conducting performance testing, and all planned and unplanned maintenance for both internally developed applications and purchased products.
Participate in design meetings and consult with clients to refine, test and debug programs
IT Controls to protect the confidentiality, integrity, as well as availability of the application and data processed or output by the application.

Requirements

6 years of full-stack Java/J2EE development in a professional work experience
Full-stack development
Spring
REST
React or Angular
Kubernetes and/or Docker

Nice to Have:

Healthcare domain experience
Experience using Agile methodology
Development experience with Node.js

About the company

ARC Group has an immediate opportunity for a full stack Java Developer for a remote position with a direct client in their Jacksonville, FL offices. The Java Developer will have 6 years of in-depth Java development experience along with two years each of React, Spring, REST, Kubernetes and/or Docker.

This starts out as an 8-month contract position with the strong potential to extend or convert to FTE. The Java Developer position is 100% remote and working in the eastern time zone during core business hours.
