AI Data Scientist

You are an AI-native data scientist who enjoys solving complex problems and turning ambiguity into practical solutions. You think in terms of models, agents, reasoning systems, and intelligent workflows. You communicate clearly, work collaboratively across teams, and take ownership from concept through production.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will help shape AI-powered products and decision-support systems.

• Design and deliver AI-powered advisors, assistants, and analytic agents
• Build and maintain production-ready Python services supporting AI applications
• Apply and fine-tune large language models including OpenAI, Gemini, and Claude
• Develop agentic AI systems using frameworks such as CrewAI, LangChain, or Autogen
• Design and evolve retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) pipelines and knowledge-based systems
• Test and optimize prompting strategies, agent behaviors, and reasoning workflows
• Enable conversational analytics and natural language exploration of complex data
• Partner with product managers, engineers, and researchers to deliver scalable AI features
• Translate emerging AI technologies into practical product innovation
• Communicate AI concepts, tradeoffs, and insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders

This is a remote role available in approved U.S. states. Occasional travel or in-person collaboration opportunities may be available. This position does not include direct supervisory responsibilities.

Our client is seeking a Senior AI Data Scientist to help design and deliver intelligent AI-driven products that support workplace decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong Python and applied AI expertise with a product mindset and a passion for building production-ready generative AI solutions., * 5+ years of experience in applied AI, machine learning, or data science

• Strong Python expertise with experience building production AI or data services
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and generative AI platforms
• Deep understanding of prompt engineering and multi-step reasoning workflows
• Experience with agentic AI concepts including planning, memory, and tool invocation
• Experience designing and implementing RAG architectures and vector search solutions
• Familiarity with AI agent frameworks such as CrewAI, LangChain, or Autogen
• Experience delivering production-quality AI systems with testing and monitoring practices
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to thrive in fast-moving and ambiguous environments
• Experience with SaaS or enterprise AI products preferred
• Familiarity with vector databases such as Pinecone, Weaviate, or Chroma preferred
• Experience with cloud platforms and containerized deployment tools preferred
• Interest in employee experience, organizational analytics, or HR technology preferred
