Computational Analyst or Data Scientist

The ideal candidate should have a strong background in machine learning, data analysis, and developing algorithms to extract clear results and conclusions. Experience with machine learning methods and/or computer vision techniques is required. Current research areas of specific interest include target segmentation/tracking, few-shot learning, and patterns of life analysis. Candidates will develop approaches beyond established object detection architectures to solve more challenging problems with limited labeled data in difficult sensing environments. The successful candidate is expected to develop their own research interests and expand the set of problems we can solve for our customers.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Candidates should have a PhD or equivalent experience
• U.S. Citizenship is required

Pay Range: The estimated annual base salary range for this role is $115K-$140K. The actual salary offered will depend on the candidate’s experience, education, and specialized skills.

Physical Sciences Inc., located just north of Boston in Andover, is looking for a Computational Scientist and/or Data Scientist to contribute to a number of programs in computer vision and pattern analysis. We develop systems and algorithms that solve challenging real-world problems in visual perception, sense making, graph analytics, and sensor fusion and modeling. Systems that we develop are continuously deployed with relevant local and federal agencies, directly contributing to our nation’s security.
