Project Manager 3 - IT (Legacy Analytics Modernization)

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager 3 to lead IT initiatives focused on Legacy Analytics Modernization. This role involves planning, budgeting, and overseeing projects to modernize data management and reporting platforms, ensuring compliance with industry standards and frameworks.

The Project Manager will coordinate across teams, manage resources, and deliver high-quality results on time and within scope.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead IT projects for analytics modernization and reporting.
• Collaborate with data architects, analytics teams, and business stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain project management documentation, work plans, risk logs, and progress reports.
• Manage day-to-day project operations, including Agile sprints, backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives.
• Conduct procurement activities and develop RFPs to acquire vendor services.
• Track project budgets, manage resources, and report progress.
• Identify and manage project risks, coordinating timely resolution.
• Mentor and lead project teams, ensuring performance and accountability.
• Maintain effective communication with all stakeholders.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Experience: 8+ years in IT project management.
• Data Management Expertise: 8+ years in data management solutions (data warehouses, data lakes, analytics/BI, web-based development, or SOA systems).
• Project Management Skills: Proficient in Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC) and Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
• Agile Expertise: Experience leading Agile sprints, backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily scrums, and Kanban.
• Documentation: Skilled in creating clear, concise project documentation.
• Team Leadership: Experience managing teams, facilitating meetings, mentoring, and task assignment.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Problem Solving: Strong problem resolution and risk management skills.
• Certification: Active PMP certification required.
• Budget Management: Experience tracking project budgets and reporting actual costs.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare, public health, or related government programs.
• Experience managing multi-agency or multi-department IT initiatives.
• Experience with access & eligibility programs.
• Ability to develop and execute project management, work, and quality plans.
• Demonstrated success motivating and leading IT project teams.
