IT Specialist Senior - TS

The IT Specialist provides support to end users for Personal Computer (PC), server, or mainframe applications and hardware. This role may interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and identify and correct core problems. The IT Specialist simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties, recommends systems modifications to reduce user problems, and maintains currency and the highest level of technical skill in the field of expertise., * Provide support to end users for PC, server, or mainframe applications and hardware.

• Interact with network services, software systems engineering, and/or applications development to restore service and identify and correct core problems.
• Simulate or recreate user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
• Recommend systems modifications to reduce user problems and improve overall system performance.
• Maintain the highest level of technical skill and knowledge in the field of expertise.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
• Document and track issues, solutions, and user interactions to ensure comprehensive support records.

• Experience in providing technical support for PC, server, or mainframe applications and hardware.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 Power Platform and SharePoint.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to interact with network services, software systems engineering, and applications development teams.
• Proficient in simulating or recreating user problems to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recommend and implement systems modifications to reduce user problems.
• Commitment to maintaining current technical skills and knowledge in the field.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with network services and software systems engineering.
