Job description

  • Collect, clean, organize, and validate data from multiple sources.
  • Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and opportunities.
  • Create recurring and ad-hoc reports for management and internal teams.
  • Build and maintain dashboards and data visualizations.
  • Use SQL to retrieve and analyze information from databases.
  • Use Excel or Google Sheets to perform calculations, analysis, and reporting.
  • Assist with forecasting, performance analysis, and business reporting.
  • Work with senior analysts and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.

Requirements

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Data Analyst to support our team with data collection, analysis, reporting, and business insights. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career professional who enjoys working with data and wants to develop their skills in analytics, reporting, and business intelligence. This is a full-time position offering $55,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience, technical skills, education, and qualifications. Candidates with strong Excel, SQL, data visualization, and analytical skills may be considered toward the upper end of the compensation range. The ideal candidate is curious, organized, comfortable working with numbers, and able to turn data into clear and useful information for business stakeholders., * Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Business, Economics, or a related field or equivalent practical experience.

  • 0-2 years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, reporting, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets.
  • Working knowledge of SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate analytical findings clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
  • Strong willingness to learn new technologies and analytical techniques.

Preferred

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or another data-visualization platform.
  • Basic knowledge of Python or R.
  • Familiarity with databases and data warehouses.
  • Experience with statistical analysis.
  • Internship or academic project experience involving data analysis.
  • Experience working with CRM, marketing, sales, financial, or operational data.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted analytics tools., Applicants are encouraged to include examples of SQL queries, Excel analysis, dashboards, data visualizations, academic projects, internships, or other analytical work that demonstrate their ability to work with data.

Benefits & conditions

The compensation for this position is $55,000-$70,000 per year, depending on experience, technical capabilities, education, and qualifications. Candidates with strong SQL skills, advanced Excel capabilities, dashboard experience, or relevant internship/project experience may be considered toward the upper end of the range.
